Hello my recovery warriors (I call you all my recovery warriors because if you are reading this blog you are taking the first step), we are starting a new feature to the Women's Treatment Program (Sobriety Diva's playground) blog where REAL women can tell their stories to other REAL women so we can find a REAL solution to this REAL problem.

I am very lucky to introduce you to our first Recovery Warrior, Joanne M. Painton. Well actually I will let her introduce herself.

Upon leaving a treatment facility for drug and alcohol addiction I think that is very helpful to attend a halfway house. A halfway house provided me with the slow transition that I needed in order to be successful with recovery on my own. I learned how to keep a daily routine and especially how to have down time without the use of drugs and alcohol.
