Thirty athletes were recently banned from the Olympic games in Vancouver for abusing performance enhancing drugs. Like others who abuse drugs no matter what they are they now have to face consequences. Left untreated, drug abuse and alcohol addiction comes with consequences that are not pleasant.

Yesterday Mark McGwire finally admitted what the rest of the world already knew. This is his opportunity to give back and educated others on the dangers of steroid abuse. Like other drugs such as cocaine and alcohol steroid abuse can be treated with the help of drug treatment.

I didn’t realize I had a problem with drugs and alcohol until it was too late. Don’t be like me, get help.
