My experience in treatment was an unexpected one. My initial thoughts was it was going to be time for me to relax and get the drugs out of my system. I had no idea of the hard work that lied ahead of me. It was well worth it.
Which is better, inpatient or outpatient treatment for addiction?

If you have been fortunate enough to get clean and sober then you are aware of 12 Step Programs. Both Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous are teaching people the way to ensure staying clean and sober is to help another alcoholic-addict that wants help.

No one likes to think they live in an area that has become known for drug addiction. Cities and states are riddled with substance abuse and drug addiction. More than ever drug addiction treatment programs are becoming widely known and readily available because drug addiction is at an all time high.
