Almost four months ago my family did an alcohol intervention on me. While I was definitely in need of an alcohol treatment center in Houston Texas, because my family lived there, I wanted to leave Texas all together. The person doing the intervention didn’t want me to leave Houston for an alcohol treatment center out of state, but I felt if I was willing to go for alcoholism treatment, why fight me. The alcoholism treatment I was looking for was going to provide me a new start away from my crazy family.

I left the interventionist, my family and all and headed to Jacksonville, Florida that I heard provided good alcoholism treatment. What my family in Houston didn’t know is that I had already started going to AA but just couldn’t stay sober. As soon as I arrived in the Jacksonville Florida alcohol treatment center I knew I was in the right place for alcoholism treatment. I hope the interventionist gets my family some help.
