As a gay man living in New Jersey I used to travel to New York alot to party. The clubs in New York were so much better than in New Jersey and it provided the perfect arena to act out on my drug addiction and sex addiction. Unfortunately I began to drink more and more and my behavior landed me in jail. It was then that I realized I needed sex addiction treatment, as well as, drug addiction treatment. Trust me when I tell you I didn’t want addiction rehab, but I knew I needed it.

After much research I found drug and sex addiction treatment in Florida. While I was estatic that sex addiction treatment existed for a gay man I was disappointed that there did not appear to be any sex addiction treatment in New Jersey. All in all I received the help I needed.

I can’t say it has been smooth sailing as when I returned to New Jersey I relapsed with my sex addiction. The funny thing is that I stayed away from the clubs in New York and ran into trouble in New Jersey. Go figure. I returned to Florida where the best support group existed to help me with my sex addiction treatment. Stay away from old people, places and things.
