I first went to an eating disorder rehab back in the 80′s, with an out of control meth habit. I am not sure which was worse, but I was more willing to give up the meth than the eating disorder. As a result I minimized the use of meth to the staff in the eating disorder rehab focusing almost exclusively on my eating disorder. Almost as soon as I completed the eating disorder rehab program I relapsed back into the meth followed by my bulimia.

I called the eating disorder rehab program back and this time was willing to give it all up. I will tell you it was a struggle and I relapsed a few times after the rehab program regarding purging, but got back on track almost immediately. Thank God the rehab program addressed my meth addiction this time around. I strongly reccomend you to be completely honest with the staff in the eating disorder rehab as my relapses almost killed me.
