A Christian rehab with Scripture and The Big Book is essential to recovery.  Early A.A. in Akron was a Christian Fellowship its basic ideas came from A As’ study of the Bible.  Recovery without the Bible won’t work for me.  I need God in my life, but I also need the expertise of the specialists. It can be dangerous to try to “detox” yourself because there can be other medical problems involved. In a Christian rehab setting we can get the medical attention along with scripture, prayer time and biblical counseling needed.  ”He healed many that were sick with diverse diseases, and cast out many demons”.  A Christian rehab works because it has all the components needed to heal, God and the “specialists” God has given us.  When given the correct tools to work with we can change our lives.  My life today is filled with hope and happiness.  I don’t isolate any more I have good true friends that care about me and I have God.
