A Christian Alcohol Rehab

Posted by: brenda@recoveryconnection.org In: Christian Program

A Christian Alcohol rehab such as A New Life at Lakeview Health in Jacksonville, Florida is where many christians finally find peace and serenity. Before we decide to quit drinking, most of us have to “hit a brick wall”.  We see that we can’t do it anymore, but we don’t know which way to turn for help.  A Christian alcohol rehab like the one at A New Life at Lakeview Health in Jacksonville, Florida is the answer.  The first step is to admit that we are powerless over alcohol-that our lives had become unmanageable. Step two is to know that a power greater than ourselves, God, could restore us to sanity. The 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous are essential to our recovery and are used at A New Life at Lakeview Health which is a Christian rehab in Jacksonville, Florida. Along with the 12 step program and Celebrate Recovery support groups is bible study, prayer time, church and pastoral counseling.  I must have a singleness of purpose to do my part in God’s work, He will do his part for me if I only have faith.

There’s no doubt in my mind that a strong faith-based component to a treatment program can increase its effectiveness. It sounds like you folks may be on the right track! Best wishes.
