jeff and i have been together since 2003. he was injured in motorcycle accident maybe three months after we met which kept him not working for the first 3 yrs of our time together. he did some drugs before that but was prescribed pain killers for a year or more after. eventually starting to buy them on the street (i did not know). i found out i was having a son about a year into the relationship at which time he asked me to marry him. two weeks after, him and his brother sat me down to tell me about his pill problem. he did go to treatment where they tried to fix his problem by giving him more pills. all along he would still be taking them hiding it the best he could from me. i would find them or he would get caught borrowing $ or i would hear conversations. he blew it off and made me out to be crazy. when it all came out, i told him i was leaving but he convinced me it was over so i stayed. he was taking more of the pills to get off the pills when we bought a house. we wound up in a fight in which he sent me to the emergency room where i got perks. eventually i started taking them with him(daily). its been three years now and i havent stopped more than a day or 2 (i usually take small amounts of suboxone).now,he stopped a year ago for a job and found out in february i hadnt stopped. we were married on may 15th and it felt like we began almost that very moment doing them again (full force if not worse). this is my first day clean since i got married i want my life back and for everything to be normal. i have no idea how to stay clean w/o leaving him even though its me too. he said he wants to get clean again but who knows what to believe he use to find them anywhere. if he cant find them he comes me to get them and he asks daily, it doesnt make it easy. i know i never stopped but it was never like this. im going nuts
