It may sound funny but becoming conscious and aware of how he or she thinks will help bring the individual around to pursue recovery. Having an eating disorder is crippling it has a life of its own and every area of his or her life is affected.
The lie is that the only person hurt is the individual themselves that is not true. Anyone who comes in contact with an individual who has an eating disorder is touched. The person themselves is miserable ever waking minute is consumed by the disease, true joy and happiness eludes them. Help available to recover from a hopeless disease.
