Fear generally keeps individuals stuck within an eating disorder? The power of negative thinking and habitual thoughts are constantly playing in the background. It may sound funny but becoming conscious and aware of how he or she thinks will help bring the individual around to pursue recovery.

An individual who has an eating disorder has asked this question many times “Why Am I Fat?” I learned a long time ago “Why” is not a recovery word! It doesn’t matter why he or she is fat- the fact remains for various reasons he or she has an eating disorder.

There is no blame placed on anyone using this method and the cause of the eating disorder is never a concern.
