Nice article. Many people who are friends or family members of those who are addicts fail to realize the fact that recovering from a drug and/or alcohol addiction is a lifelong process that can be both arduous and painful as many former addicts face the possibility of relapsing. The best thing we can do is support those who are trying to recover by providing them with a positive surrounding in which to do so- one that is free of drugs and alcohol or any of the prior temptations that they may have once had.
