Addiction Treatment in Drug Rehabs Questionable

Posted by: jhutt In: Drug Addiction

Drug rehabs across the country continue to be criticized for what many call poor results in addiction treatment. When one stops to take a closer look at the quality at the quality of addiction treatment these drug rehabs provide you will find little fault with the majority of them. so why doesn’t their addiction treatment produce better results? The funny thing is that drug rehabs have been trying to explain this for years, but people would rather blme the addiction treatmentrather than accept the answer. The answer to this question is the degree of motivation and willingness to change on the part of the patient.

Addiction Treatment Could Be Better

While addiction treatment could always be better, even the best of drug rehabs can’t make a person do what they are not willing to do. It is true that the staff providing the addiction treatment are supposed to be able to intervene on a person’s thought process and get them to “get with the program”, this is easier said than done due to the short period of time insurance carriers allow people to participate in the addiction treatment drug rehabs provide.

Regardless of who is right or wrong, we do know there are excellent drug rehab providing state of the art addiction treatment. To locate one of these programs call 1-800-99-DETOX.
