I have been on a Methadone Treatment Program for almost 2yrs. and I am beginning the process of coming off of it. What does it mean when the article talks about Methadone Addiction Treatment, Methadone Addiction and Methadone Detox Treatment. Is someone abusing the use of Methadone? Are they then using Methadone as treatment for opiates and then going through a detox for Methadone patients to discontinue treatment? I am totally lost right now !!!! I am looking to talk to other people who either presently on Methadone and coming off of it or current patients already off of it. I’m not sure what this article means?????
