Alcoholism Helpline Saves Lives

Posted by: mharmon In: Drug Addiction

The vast majority of people suffering from alcoholism don’t know where to go for help. For those that might know where alcohol help can be found, they are usually not sure if it is the best alcohol help for them. So how do we find out? Some may call their physician, who usually is not familar with alcoholism help outside their local area and some call AA or go to the internet. The thing is that most people want to speak with someone who has thorough knowledge about alcoholism and where they can receive the help that meets their particular needs.

The Alcohol Helpline

The alcohol helpline or alcoholism helpline was designed years ago as a means for people to locate help for alcoholism anywhere in the United States. Finding help for alcoholism is not as easy as it seems as there are so many factors that must be taken into consideration before choosing your alcohol rehab. First, most every alcohol helpline is toll free and confidential. Secondly, the alcohol addiction helpline should be open 24 hours daily, seven days a week. If a live person doesn’t answer or if you are on hold for a long period of time, I would find another alcohol addiction helpline. The alcohol treatment helpline should also have a data base that the alcohol treatment helpline staff are familar with, which will enable them to make referrals anywhere in the United States. Before making the referral, a professional alcohol helpline will do a thorough evaluation, both clinically and financially so they will know the best alcohol treatment program to refer you to.

The alcoholism helpline I reccomend is 1-800-99-DETOX. The helpline is easy to remember, has a professional staff and can find you help anywhere in the country. For help, call the alcohol addiction helpline NOW.
