Drug rehab centers all over the United States claim their drug rehab provides the best treatment. While we know that is not really the case, we do want to know which drug rehab provides the best drug addiction treatment services for ourselves. Drug rehab is not just about drug detox and drug treatment. This type of treatment just focuses on the symptoms and not the “true” causes of the drug addiction. Unfortunately, most of the drug rehabs seem to fall into this category.

One drug rehab I came across seemed to have taken treatment to another level. This treatment center seems to provide drug addiction treatment services for adults, dual diagnosis treatment, gay addiction treatment, a family program and every physician is board certified. Their entire focus was to address the underlying cause of the drug addiction and work towards helpiong the patient manage the triggers that led to their drug use.

I was even more impressed in their ability to treat each patient as an individual. truly assessing each patients needs and then developing a plan to meet them. Every single patient had a case manager who responsibility it was to make sure the addiction treatment plans were being worked on and continually being adjusted. Therapy was being provided by licensed therapists not just people in recovery. While most were in recovery also, it was great to see recovering people who had become educated in the art of psychiatric and mental health issues and the best way to treat them.
