West Virginia Addiction Treatment

It appears that many people that had accessed West Virginia addiction treatment programs for initial treatment of their drug addiction and alcoholism are ending up in drug rehabs in Florida after their relapse. This is not to suggest the quality of care in West Virginia addiction treatment programs is sub par, but that Florida drug rehabs have designed themselves to maxamize insurance benefits to provide for a longer lengths of stay with more creative addiction treatment programs.

The other aspect that seems to account for the rise in admissions to Florida drug rehabs from West Virginia has to do with the number of people from West Virginia that are referred to Florida halfway houses after their drug treatment program in West Virginia. Halfway houses in Florida provide excellent care and have broken away from the mold of ” old, broken down, drug infested dwellings”, with some providing high end care for those able to afford it.

If you are living in West Virginia and would like to look into various Florida drug rehabs, go to www.99detox.com  or www.recoveryconnection.org.
