Inpatient Drug Rehabs
There are many different drug rehab programs that are made available to those that are suffering from addictions to drugs. One specific type of addiction treatment program that is offered is an inpatient drug rehab program. An inpatient drug rehab program that requires that the patient stay at the facility during the time of their drug detox and their drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Often people find that the inpatient drug rehab programs are much more successful than drug treatment programs that allow patients to go home during their addiction treatment plan.
One of the benefits that is provided by an inpatient drug rehab program is that the patients have access to help 24 hours a day. No matter if they are having physical or emotional difficulties dealing with the addiction and the drug detox process, there is always someone there that can help them at any time. Since patients often deal with extreme withdrawal symptoms it is often very helpful to have care 24 hours a day.
Another benefit of an inpatient drug rehab program is that it keeps former addicts from being around their old friends and old haunts that may be associated with their previous lifestyle. Especially in the early days of the addiction treatment program it could be very tempting to start using drugs again, so keeping patients away from anything that may tempt them is a great idea.
Since an inpatient drug rehab program keeps the patient busy and has their days all planned out it makes it easier for them to deal with the detoxification and drug and alcohol rehabilitation process. There is no chance that they will be able to get to any drugs or alcohol while in the facility and their chances of total recovery increase greatly when they are in an inpatient drug rehab program. If you want a program that has been proven to be the most successful with helping addicts change their lives than an inpatient drug rehab program may be the right one for you.
There are drug rehabs all over the country, but Florida drug rehabs have proven to be the most effective. The drug rehabs in Florida have developed a more creative inpatient drug rehab than exist in many parts of the United States.

I am looking for a long term program for my 28 year old son specializing in treatment for dual diagnosis. He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder last fall and has struggled with alcohol and drug addiciton for several years. Last June he completed a 30 day program at Fellowship Hall in North Carolina but did not participate in follow up treatment upon his release. We would like to find an appropriate program for him as soon as possible. Any information you can share will be appreciated. Thank you ..

Lee,
My wife’s troubles and treatments are very similar to what you listed for your son (bipolar, alcohol, drugs, 28- day, etc). Have you found a place that worked?
Thanks,
