We are Recovery Connection® (RCx), a private referral network assisting people who need treatment for alcohol and drug addiction from all over the continental United States.
Our mission is to provide orientation about addiction treatment and placement of individuals who would like private treatment care depending on their clinical needs and qualifications.
Our goal is to become your one source for recovery and treatment issues. We are in the process of establishing a network of treatment facilities, qualifying the best and most appropriate treatment programs out there in order to provide patients with the highest quality of healthcare available. We also aspire to educate our callers about addiction, treatment, and recovery. We want to offer hope.
Recovery Connection® (RCx) was conceived after years of experience within the addiction treatment field as the solution for Private Treatment referrals. We are proposing a new brand of healthcare within our field. Our organization is formed by caring individuals who understand the dramatic reality of the disease and the difficulty of finding good treatment in our country. Some of our staff are actually in Recovery and have lived the nightmare of addiction. We formed Recovery Connection® (RCx) when we realized that many people face issues around addiction every day and have no idea where to go for help.
Alcoholism and Drug Addiction affects everyone because it affects society as a whole. The consequence to our economy is about $150 Billion dollars. The impact on our loved ones is 125,000 deaths. These numbers belong to year 2003 and they keep increasing every year. More than 20 Million people in our country need treatment for substance abuse, right now.
After researching treatment, insurance coverage, treatment accessibility, our recent society problems and its relation with addiction itself, we see treatment as a gift that you give yourself. Everyone could benefit from taking time out of their stressful routine and reassess their lives and what is important to them.
Sometimes our search for pleasure and pain avoidance contributes to our addictive cycle. Our best thinking when we are in our addictive patterns gets us in more trouble and the chronicity of addiction continues.
We think that sober and clean living is possible with proper treatment and support. Aftercare is imperative when dealing with addicts and alcoholics. Nothing changes if we don't make a change. By learning how to use the tools of recovery we can have successful, joy-filled and drug-free lives.
